Poste proposé : Senior Underground SurveyorReporting to the Survey superintendent, the Senior Underground Surveyor must be able to coordinate and train the underground survey team. Planning Daily, weekly, and monthly underground survey task. Update survey plans to be used by underground technical services team. With high skills of communication, he keeps good communication with other departments.
He supports Open pit survey team if needed.
Underground Mine Plans Update :
- Prepare and update UG Emergency plan
- Prepare and update level plans
- Prepare weekly cut sheet
- Prepare and update UG composite plans
- Process Over break and Under break reports.
Underground Mine survey :
- Surveying all underground development and production headings
- Control network surveys, station placement and database management
- Direction and grade mark-ups of headings
- Production 'ring' mark-up
- Drawing underground plans, plots, etc.
- Stopes scanning with Cavity Monitoring System
- Stopes processing
- Stockpiles measurement.
Technical Reporting :
- Participate in preparing the daily, weekly and monthly reports for the UG Mine Technical Department to ensure that Tech service team get updated on underground development.
- End of Month Calculation and reports.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Senior Underground Surveyor Requirements :
- Master of Science (Survey) or Bachelor+10 years’ experience
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in underground mine survey with minimum 3 years in senior position
- Experience with Underground mine safety procedures
- French & English language skills essential
- Working experience with Surpac and AutoCAD
- Experience of working effectively in a technical team environment
- Experience working in multicultural environment
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and build effective relationships and networks
- Demonstrates strong conceptual skills and be capable of developing lateral and practical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to a changing work environment
- The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time
- A reputation for integrity and ethics.
